Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. There haven't been many update-worthy stories. Something kind of interesting I came across is the amount of reality stars from Southwest Florida. Check out the list: Baserva and Wilder join a roster of other local reality characters including Naples Zoo animal trainer Cindy Hall, who survived "Survivor: Guatemala" in 2005; Fort Myers letter carrier Vonzell Solomon, who finished third in 2005 on "American Idol"; Estero graduate Kristen Morse, who competed on "The Bachelor" in 2006; Naples' St. John Neumann High School 2006 graduate Annie Castellano, who got physical on "American Gladiators" last year; Erin Williams, Canterbury School 2003 graduate who appeared on the New York-set "The City"' season that ended in March; and Derrick Tribbett, also known as Sinister, who last month ended a run on "Daisy of Love." |

• Orlando Auditions Approaching | 02 Jul 2009 |

American Idol season 9 will hold auditions in Vonzell's audition city of Orlando. This year's Orlando auditions are July 9 at Amway Arena downtown, but you will need to arrive a day or two early. Participants must go to the arena on Tuesday or Wednesday, beginning at 7 a.m., to register for an audition spot. You will need to bring two pieces of ID and, if you are under 18, you will have to have a parent or guardian with you. Good luck to all those auditioning! Hope to see another contestant from Southwest Florida in the final three! |

• 'Still Green' set for June debut | 30 May 2009 |

The movie "Still Green," which Vonzell made a cameo appearance in, is set to run at Pavilion 10 Cinemas in Naples from June 19 to 25. The film won Best Narrative Feature at the New England Film/Video Festival, Best Ensemble Cast at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, and was rated Best Film Not Yet Released by Boston Film Critic TC Kirkham.
